Quick Trip

Finally I got 2 days off in a row! And it just so happened that on my 2 days off Jessica was in need of a babysitter. I volunteered to come down and watch Hailey for her..then the wheels started spinning...and we got this great idea to go to Vegas for a night. It was only a couple hours from Jessica's and we found a great deal on a room with an AWESOME swimming pool. Babysitting was a blast. Hailey is such a good baby. After the day of babysitting... Darcie and The Jess's plus lil Hailey Jo packed up in the car and headed to Vegas. We got to see the Fremont Street Light show and that was pretty neat. We had a lot of fun and had a blast at the pool. The pool has an aquarium in the middle of it that you can swim up too it even had sharks in it. It also has a water slide that goes through the tank. It was a pretty neat pool. This was Haileys first time swimming so it was a pretty neat pool for her to go in for the first time. We also went to the Pawn Stars pawn shop on Las Vegas Blvd. We had a blast and can't wait for the chance to go again. We will be going swimming in that pool again!!

Disneyland April 2010

Jesse and I decided to celebrate our birthdays this year with a trip to Disneyland! We went for 4 days and had a blast. We got to celebrate Jesse's birthday in the park so that was a lot of fun! We got to ride the Toy Story Mania ride for the first time and it was well worth the wait! My boss got us some great rates at a hotel right across the street so it only took 5 mins to get to the main gate. It was rainy one day, but that was ok since we got to ride Big thunder 3 times in a row without even getting off the ride! And another one of the days there was a earthquake south of Anaheim that made the park shut down all the rides and have to do a safety inspection on every ride. Luckily Jesse and I were just waiting in line for the Aladdin show and it was only delayed about 5 minutes. We really had a lot of fun and can't wait to go agian in a few more months!

Jesse can cook!

Jesse has been bugging me for a rice cooker/steamer for a while now. I finally gave in and we got one. Since then he has been doing some more cooking around the house. He has made tamales, rice pudding and rice. He loves it and I do too since he is more than happy to cook dinner and dessert.
